Our architecturally designed, luxury villa with large fenced pool is within walking distance of Alberobello and the famous trulli of the UNESCO world heritage site
We have refurbished the villa over the past year to a very high standard and furnished it in a comfortable tasteful way
The villa has extensive grounds that include a small pine wood and an old threshing pen carved out of the rock - the perfect setting for al fresco dining
The garden area around the house is being landscaped this spring and will include a safe play area for children
There is ample parking and the whole grounds are completely walled
Obviously the photographs were taken during the refurbishment but the villa is now complete and, when we return at Easter, we shall be taking some of the house as it is now! |

You enter the house through french windows into a lovely square hall
From here there is a door to our large newly installed kitchen fitted with contemporary 5 ring SMEG stainless steel gas hob, 2 Neff electric ovens, large American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dining table seating 12
Returning to the hallway and to the left, you will find our spacious lounge with three, large and comfortable contemporary sofas, armchairs and french windows leading onto the newly laid terrace and a pine wood beyond
From the hallway a corridor leads to three ground floor bedrooms, master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and two double or twin rooms
There is a good sized bathroom with shower, washhand basin, wc and bidet
Wide stairs lead from the corridor to the first floor bedrooms consisting of:
Large bedroom with 4 adult size bunk beds and balcony
Master bedroom with balcony and views over the pine wood and countryside beyond
Again a good sized bathroom with bath
On the the landing there is a door and stairs to a large roof terrace with excellent views across the countryside and to Alberobello
There is a large covered patio area outside the kitchen leading to steps to the pool (fenced for safety) and to the aia ( old threshing pen)
Poolside equipment includes a shower, sunbeds and umbrellas |
| | | Attractions | The villa is an excellent base for exploring the relatively undiscovered region of Puglia
The delightful town of Alberobello with its many excellent restaurants is really close and Noci with its chic little boutiques is also not far away
The nearest beaches are just 20 minutes drive as is the Zoo Safari at Fasano about or take a drive
Savelletri has an excellent 18 hole golf course |
